Got Bored of PP so started Smuggling.

I've been playing PP since release, and I have gotten a little bored of it. I'm a Pranav Antal supporter. So I have started smuggling, as I haven't tried it for a long while. And I am pleased that now the Black Markets are paying good credits for good. So I am getting Imperial Slaves and running them into Hudson territory. So I'm thinking I might see what else I can flood the opposition territory with, and see if FD does what they did with the Onion Head.

While I dont complain of the payout I do find the pricing strange.

2 tonnes of slaves to transport to another station in the same system = 50K payment.

I did get scanned once. I forgot to go silent in my t7 and copped a $1m credit fine. I am loving the black makets now.

I've been enjoying smuggling missions in my FDL. Found five missions going to the same station at the same time and no slaves involved! Made a cool half million for running weapons and drugs. Isn't moral ambiguity fun?!

I'm in alliance space. Sometimes (..and it's sometimes very often in mahon space) I'm looking for good profits with legal goods but there are non. We don't have such an exclusive imperial-only commodity (imp slaves) that makes you rich. I end up smuggling 448t of tobacco in my anaconda. It's a dangerous job that makes you sweat.
But hey! The profit! All these shiny credits! it's absolutely worth it. .... ahhhm ...wait ...... *sigh* 850c/t profit? Are you serious? (Best price supply to high demand black market station).

Smuggling missions are o.k. (If you manage to get several good ones at once) but trading in illegal goods seems broken (I tried battle weapons as well, profit vs risk ratio is terrible)

I wonder if you guys knew the "type" of slaves you are actually smuggling, if you'd still do it.

Imp slaves are giving me 1.6 mil per trip on a 37 ly run very dangerous though avoiding pirate but I like the risk iv lost 2 condas this week but I've made about 100 mil this week

I don't know how people can be so against transporting servants to their new employers yet be completely fine transporting stuff that turns teenage brains to mush.

Might have something to do with "civil rights", "personal choice" and all that silly stuff that the Empire forgot ages ago, when their own brain was turned to mush.

Always wondered how smuggling works in this game. I thought black markets only give a % of the true value of the goods, at least that appears to be when you sell stuff to it you've salvaged from Signal Sources. How is it profitable to buy Slaves (any variant) or weapons/narcotics and then sell at a black market if the black market only gives you, let's say, 75% of the true value?
