Got fired at inside Beagle Landing!

Got fired at inside Beagle 2 Landing whilst I was docking! Nearly destroyed my ship.

Maybe someone hit the wrong button.

I don't know who did it, but I'll take credit. Such is the responsibility of the awful players who support PvP gameplay.

I was just trying to help with the fuel mix adjustment on that jalopy you're flying. You spun around spraying your exhaust on my and covered my canopy in a greasy smear. Since I could no longer read where landing pad 36 was I turned towards the nearest bright object and opened fire to get your attention since chatting in that godawful little window in the UI is useless.

But then I thought I saw Cob heading out the starport, and had more important things to discuss with his weaselly presence and promptly left to chase him down and rub hulls.

problem with it is, FD might monitor such things and try to avoid it by ingame mechanics.
then they try to counter it and might overdo it a "bit".

the "open pvp" community is not helping their cause with such actions they might just do because they are getting frustrated with the way the game seems to be heading to.

Actually I welcome all forces of gameplay, it's no problem for me cause I believe in a real world simulation. But clearly station's security should be pretty high at all times. They will need to protect the trading integrity of the station to survive in a galactic market.

Someone had a pop at me in Azeban City, on the pad. I left the station and then continued to engage me. I treated him / her with the contempt deserved, hit the afterburners and just like Sir Robin, bravely ran away. :D

Over do it a 'bit'? To coin a phrase, 'we can't repel fire power of that magnitude.. retreat!'. Well at least we can all have 'fun' now everywhere is nice and 'safe'. zzzz

All rather ironic really when we consider this: http://youtu.be/-pltB5_f7Ow?t=10s

"Yes officer, it was a complete accident when I activated my hardpoints, holding down the trigger for a prolonged period of time and blowing up some random trader" :D

I think you'll find that apparently it's a vital part of Beta testing.

Given that the lastest commercial they made for Elite displayed fighting inside stations, I'm going to say that FD has a more liberal opinion on PvP than most people are imagining.

Honestly I'm not looking forward to the idea of open PvP inside stations, if this promotional material is a hint at their decision on the subject.. That's like starting the game as a rat in a trap.

Nope. They've always let you open fire in a policed area, they've just always said that there will be consequences. To date, some of those consequences haven't been coded in so station camping is still possible; expect that to change.
