Ships Got from a npc interdicted in a dolphine

Good evening Cmdrs o7

I was doing courier missions in my dolphin, some of them dangerous, with enemy warning, got interdicted, but I could evade so far all interdictions from npcs, since the dolphin is maneuverable in supercruise.

But in the last interdiction I got almost instantly pulled out of SC and got destroyed. How could that happen, since the dolphin is so nimble. I wasnt near a planet.

The Dolphin is besides the FSD not yet fully engineered tho. The dolphin is not meant to run away ( D-Rated thrusters and D-Rated Shields ), because I relied on the supercruise maneuverability. But I would like to know, how can it be, that you still get almost instantly pulled out of supercruise?

Have a great night cmdrs o7

EDIT: Sorry it was late and I wrote dolphin wrong and corrected it, but sadly I cant correct the Thread Title :/

Was the throttle zeroed? If so it's a submission. Personally I prefer this. Submit and boost is the thing when your fleet is fast.

Yeah, that could be a reason, since I have a SC-Assist and I got pretty much interdicted after my jump into the next system.

Hey Cmdrs o7,
hey Sinisalo,

dont want to necro this thread, but I just wanted to clearify more the reason, because I recently found out what happend excatly by doing to same mistake, without realizing it:

I picked a station and activated the sc-assistant with 0 throttle. The ship moves then automaticly and then I forgot, that the ship was at 0 throttle. So because of that, even though your ship is moving via the sc-assistant, your throttle is still at 0. I got interdicted and immediatly dropped out of sc. Because due to the 0 throttle, the game thinks I submitted.

So make sure, when you activate the sc-assistant, to set up the throttle to 75%, or anything above 0.

o7 Cmdrs
