got stuck trying to leave the colonisation ship after completion, relogged, now can't receive commander data

as the title states, after trying to leave a colonisation ship, my cutter got "stuck" leaving the pad (i had launched the ship and nothing happened for several minutes). i manually closed the game using task manager as it would not quit to menu, and now i can't log back in. the game loads to the horizons screen with the planet and coriolis station rather than my ship, and gives me a load failed problem retrieving commander data from server error. anyone else having this issue? i really hope it hasn't somehow broken my save file...


UPDATE:

frontier reset my commander position and this seems to fix the issue, looks to be caused by the construction ship despawning and confusing your player's location when you log back in. you seem to be able to fix it yourself by using the unstuck feature mentioned by Blaggerdy below

I got the same earlier and seen at least one more forum mention of it. After about 4 hours I raised a support case but 8pm UK time means it will be at least tomorrow before looked at, suggest you do the same in case it does no self-resolve. There was a message that ticket responses may be a while due to volume of requests

Getting reports about similar results, when CMDRS have logged out on the Colony Carrier and it leaves because the construction is finished!

Yeah i have done, fingers crossed itll be speedy but the last support ticket i had took over a month to get read :/

Hopefully this isn't too major an issue but it sorta seems like your commander data gets corrupted or something

It may be that the ship was large and the station converted to a medium pad one. I have accessed an alt left at a col ship that converted to a medium pad station with no problems. I may have been lucky.
