GPU Driver Crash

Something weird has happened. I was playing this morning, and accidentally tapped the 'windows' key. I do this quite often when my finger misses the 'z' or 'x' keys, but usually it's fine, but this morning it crashed the game (then the crash reporter wouldn't let me click 'submit'). Now as I've tried to reload the game, I'm getting a pop up saying "A GPU Driver crash was detected, would you like to turn on extended debugging for this run?", which I've never seen before.

Anyone know what any of this means? I've never had trouble playing on this laptop before (it's the only game I have installed on it, and it's a gaming laptop, which, while not ideal for a gaming system, is still pretty good). I've never experienced a crash to this extent before. I don't know the exact specs but I know it exceeds the requirements for Zoo.

I've seen this with Planet coaster a few times. I just clicked yes and usually the game would run fine after that for a while, but the message did return every so often.

After a few weeks I discovered my card was broken (memory) because other games where starting to have issues as well (which could be a case on it's own and not related to your problem).
Once I got a new card I never got the issue anymore.

Like said, above might not be related to your problem. But if it keeps popping up, and (re-)installing the drives doesn't work, there might be something wrong with the card (or in case of a laptop, the chip).

If this happens once...don't worry. I had this kind of crash a few times and every time in combination with alt-tab operations and multiple different other tools that also use the GPU ....compared to my total playtime and sessions, not very often ( and totally my own fault, cause I start two million programs and like to alt-tab like a child hitting a drum ) .
Sometimes even some openGL-stuff within the browser can also conflict with games.....sure this should not happen, but it can.
