GpuWorkTable.xml - Pushing LOD beyond vanilla Ultra settings?

Has anyone attempted to tinker with this config file and had any positive results?

The only thing to suggest texture resolution is what's in bold in these lines

<task name="Terrain_Icy_NoAtmosphere_Materials_SP::14_Preset_Screen_7" version="2" size="1024" hash="bea9fa04b25cde413bb58f68655411c0e1f3dd9c">

I'm thinking I'll backup the vanilla config and change these values to 2048 and see what happens >_> but I wanted to ask first to see if it's a futile attempt.

Ive seen some people put way more stars than would actually be visible onto their screens. They seem to think they should be able to see every star in the game no matter far away or how much gas is blocking them

Oh ! Oh ! thats me !
Actualy , if you play in 4K you can see a difference.

I just set up my own reshade preset, I'm pretty happy about it, lol. Haven't messed any of the game files, though, just the ones in reshade.

Didn't notice any changes, but that is most likely because I didn't set the xml to read-only. Though upon further inspection I don't think it would be wise to set this file as read only. It appears that this xml config is dynamic and changes each time the game is launched. The size values remain static, but certain <item work "xxxx" time="x.xxxxxxx" /> lines change in values, new lines are even added that weren't there before.

one xml has 1867 lines, the other 1672.
