Just saw this in Galnet news -- if we dump our ELW/terraforming cadidates in Goldstein port, do we get anything?

I actually went there earlier and scanned some stuff on the way and turned it in there getting some report counts for the goal. It said the first rewards unlock at the first tier which I assume is after they get X amount of reports (think there was a few hundered when I was there.

I'd probably guess no since it's based on the number of reports and not the actual quality or scanning of the system from what I understand.

This is exactly what I needed, or better said - wanted. I'm returning from a 5+ month expedition having scanned more then 6000 systems. Still have 24k ly to go, will be back just in time to hand the data in, if I'm lucky and don't explode or something.

OP: You get the usual reward for ELP and such, but surface scans are not needed or specially rewarded for the CG, just the ping.
