Graphic Card Prices

I wouldn't buy a card at inflated rates.
Supply and demand.
If we stop buying they'll have to consider a beter price point or risk losing money.
Don't buy until the price is fair.

The inflated price thing has been going on for over a year, and it's been getting steadily worse. In all honesty, unless the card companies create a dedicated mining card, then graphics cards are going to continue to be kicked into orbit.

It is supply and demand. The crypto miners are demanding lots of cards. BC is around 5000GBP just now, and rising. Then there are the various other cryptocurrencies popping up. Gamers can wait all they want, but hell may well freeze over in the meantime.

What do people think this will do to the videocard market? Cryptocurrencies are here to stay and so they will always be there increasing the customer base. Has Nokia said anything about the videocard shortage? If they've ramped up production to match, they may find themselves with a whole heap of cards on their hands now that the bubble's burst.

I don't want there to be a glut of cheap cards on the market because of the Bitcoin's volatility. I want a nice steady reduction in prices from companies that are stable enough to design and develop new generations of videocards.
