Maybe i've completely lost my mind here....but I can't seem to access all the graphics features. Am I missing a tab or button somewhere cause all I can seem to pick is the basic quality settings (VR custom, High, etc) but none of the supersampling or other graphic features available to select.

There should be a "+" symbol next to the graphics settings. You have to expand them out to see them. If you are using your Hotas to scroll through the settings there is an actual key bind to expand them out but I don't know it off the top of my head.
I cheat with the Options menu and use a mouse to select - it is simpler than using the HOTAS for selecting the + sign 
Now if I could find out where the GalMap selection 'went wrong' ... (some setting has disappeared so will have to go through the mappings, again )
