Graphics Improvement for AMD Radeon Cards

This might help any AMD users out there. you do not need to use what the game gives you for option on optimization.

If you have a decent AMD Radeon card you should already have AMD catalyst control center.
using AMD catalyst control center helped me improve my graphics.
this is what i did

you can override the game settings to use the ones you want.

And the effect was? Before and after shots... also re tge iverclock, what card was it? Ithers should be wary as thatvelement will be card specific!

A 15% OC is not going to be stable on a great many cards.

Also, I've never seen an effect from the AA or tesselation overrides in CCC...though AF does work.

The AMD Gaming Evolved/Raptr app already optimises settings based on your card and community feedback. I would suggest some caution however, as it maxed out my settings but I had to reduced supersampling to 1.5x from the 3x it suggested for my R9 280 double x, as the frame rate was too compromised.

There biggest thing for me with AMD card is that there latest driver update (v15 from memory) has allowed a significant improvement in settings I can max out before issues develop. Much improved from the previous version. I think there was a thread discussing it recently on here.

I am at work so I can't get any screen shots.
The graphics are marginally better.
My fps were 60+ with the ED settings but I was having problems with graphical anomalies inside stations where every once and a while a single frame would have white dots all over the place on certain textures. Kind of like interference.
I have played 8 hours from changing the settings and have not seen any anomalies.
The video card I have is this

i might be picky or don't understand it but - why these setting are for launcher not the game itself?

I am no expert on computers but if this part is not set up correctly. Than over clocking my GPU must have been what fixed my graphical anomalies problem

Really top-spec PCs are having this issue. I don't think anyone is sure exactly what is behind it - certainly when planets swim into view there is stuttering - rendering of them I guess.

But then - I get stutter even in the transition to FSD jump - strange. I'm sure they'll fix it, one day.

i have more than enough to run this game yet i still get stuttering and my graphic card is not used in 100%. The engine is quite stable though yet tricky. What helped me a lot it was blocking it to 60fps when exploring and 120 when playing on RES.

every computer is different and we utilities different components and slight change to something may help you a lot. this is something what you have done. on the top of that i latest catalysts version have gotten a lot better.

and yes - when jumping from system to system i have plenty of stuttering as well.

This was my main point in starting this thread. I mostly used my compuer for streaming movies and TV shows the last 2 years and forgot about all the things you could tweak with the GPU.

I would like to add.
anybody over clocking your gpu you need a good way of keeping track of your temps when tweeking settings. I prefer an external probe on the GPU because I can see it real time while in game. It's reads about 10 deg lower than the temp guage on my catalysts.
