Hello,
Has anyone played with the an Intel Iris Pro580 graphics card & come up with the optimum settings for ED:Horizons ?
I'm playing on one of these -> Intel Skull Canyon NUC
It has 32GB RAM, and an Intel Iris Pro580 graphics card
ED plays fine on mostly high settings. With ED:Horizons planets cause a huge problem. The only way I've been able to land without the system locking up is to set everything to "low", turn off anti-aliasing, and set supersampling to 0.5. So less than potato quality.
It seems like I can raise some of the settings without ending up with a freeze, but am hoping someone has already looked at this & can suggest the optimum set that retains good quality in space but still lets me land on planets.
Mid-term I'll be getting an eGPU, but it's great to be able to take this little box on trips & play in hotel rooms, so getting some advice on the "naked" system settings would be much appreciated.
