Graphics settings toggle for space and legs.

So, I can play the space sim part with ultra settings on 3440x1440 resolution at a constant 60fps.

With space legs, I have to go to options and switch to high and scale up from 65% to have constant 60fps.

It would be awesome if there would be two different graphics settings and a keyboard shortcut to switch between those two.

(Obviously it would be best if the legs part would be super optimized to be on par with the space sim but I'm guessing that ain't happening any time soon.)

Something like that would be nice..

I recommend trying 2560*1080 for ground stuff and leave the gfx settings as they are

Please, please, please this would be awesome. Ideally it would be nice to have a couple graphics preset save slots as well so when we are testing and tweaking we can keep our stable configs in a way that makes sense.

Specific options for various aspects, sure... more options are always good, but pre-sets and having to faff about chopping and changing all settings when transitioning from different parts of the game, yeah... no. Bad idea is bad and is only being suggested because of how poorly optimised and even broken some aspects currently are.

Pre-sets for VR that automatically selected when you use VR, and a separate config for "non-vr" again, automatically used, then bonus!
Quite a few games can do that and it makes perfect sense. At the moment, that is a faff too. But that's not what this topic is about.

I'm a mostly VR player who recently bought Odyssey. The single most annoying thing is switching back and forth between 3D and 2D settings. Being able to save two sets of graphics settings and toggle between them with a single keypress would be a game-changer.

There's no way I'm going to play on-foot in the HMD cinema mode thing when I can take off the HMD off and play at Ultra settings and much higher resolution on a nice big monitor. Just let me switch quickly!

Having 150+ fps (optimized by Nvidia Experience) in space it got to 9 fps in planet port hangar because of not using FSR.
