Graphics spasms in VR, help?

To start with, I'm having a rather headache inducing problem with VR. As in it literally causes a headache within a minutes. This problem is that in VR, and only in VR the graphics keep... spasming is the best I can describe it. The image constantly jumps to the left or right, while also staying in place. Of course, the problems start as Steam VR is starting. This only happens with Elite Dangerous though. As for my setup, I use an Oculus Quest either via a USB-C 3.0 LInk cable or streaming wirelessly via the program Virtual Desktop. The problems happen either way of connecting.

My system specs are
GPU: pair of Radeon RX 580 graphics cards with crossfire enabled

CPU: Intel i5-8400 CPU, 2.80 ghz 6 cores

RAM: 16 gb

The AMD software claims that my GPU doesn't meet the minimum requirement for Steam VR, but there are zero issues with Steam VR normally. Then again, it also both claims that my GPU meets/exceeds the recommended specs for Elite Dangerous and doesn't meet the minimum requirements. So I take what it says with a grain of salt. Any help fixing this issue would be appreciated. I really want to experience this game in VR, but if I get a headache after 30 seconds on the title screen that's not possible.

CrossFire is probably your problem. Try disabling it.

AFAIK, currently, no VR goggle supports multiple gfx cards.

Hmm, will have to try that. I know that Elite Dangerous supports crossfire, so I hadn't thought it would be an issue. Will try in a few minutes.

Okay, disabling Crossfire did fix the problem. Thanks for the help! And VR is just as awesome as I thought it would be. However it looks like it'll have to wait till my T-Flight 4 gets here. It's kind of hard to use the keyboard while holding the Oculus Touch controllers. Even harder when you can't even see it out of the corner of your eye. :)

What is the Elite Dangerous: Horizons (With New Planetary Tech)? I have Horizons but I have not heard of that yet.

It's his signature to protest against the upcoming Odyssey expansion not having VR, not a real thing. Basically a compromise of sorts I guess suggesting they include the new planetary tech for VR Horizons players if they're not going to include it in Odyssey?
