Grasslands pack emu - too spiky?

I’m willing to reserve judgement until I see it in game but the emu’s head seems very ‘spiky’. I know some emus are like this but not all and am wondering if it’s slightly overdone if every emu will look like that…

I made a thread about the emu model with some more details if you want to check it out.

I personally don't see much of an issue with the emu model, but having a bit of a skeptical mind about the species before release might not be a bad idea.

The binturong was changed before release because we had a strong reaction to it based on one picture. The Malayan tapir we saw several pictures of and a bit of video in the trailer. If I remember correctly only a few people spoke up about the issues with the tapir before release, but most decided to wait and see. And sadly nothing ever happened to that scam of an animal.

But I will probably wait with my judgment until the day they highlight that animal
