I know this is a bit out there, as no one really knows what the expansion of FPS aspect in E
will look like, but does anyone else feel like it would be cool for there to be dynamic gravity? I.e. your ship will come crashing to the ground once you enter the gravity well of a planet unless you use thrusters to counteract it. I think it'd be neat for ships to switch into a VTOL mode at a certain point of elevation, and also have the transition from VTOL to traditional flight be a slow, and take a little bit more skill (much like modern VTOL fighters).
Also, on a semi-related tangent, do you think with the introduction of FPS combat and such, there will be a place for maybe Cobras and Vipers to purchase bomb bay doors, and the possibility of using Anacondas/Capital Ships (with their eventual introduction) be used for orbital strikes, etc.
Gravity adds a whole new level of complexity with flight/dogfighting/combat in general.
