Just heard about this - 'Gravity' - according to the BBC:

Opening the [70th Venice International Film Festival] festival this year is the much-anticipated sci-fi movie Gravity directed by Alfonso Cuaron (Y Tu Mama Tambien and Children of Men). It stars Sandra Bullock and George Clooney as engineer and veteran astronaut on a space-shuttle mission that goes scarily wrong.

Man, that didn't look good position to be in! Not sure the guys on the ISS will be too happy to see that movie.

That really is unfortunate casting. George Clooney I could just about cope with - the Solaris remake wasn't that bad, as far as I can remember it. But Sandra Bullock...

The FX and general visual direction looked impressive though.
