Gravity, orbits and orbital trajectories ?!

I've heard a lot of talk about the planets and systems being subjects to real gravitational forces but so far as I do not stay very long in a system, I did not see planets really revolving around stars etc.

And so I was wondering: If I drop out of Super Cruise around a planet will I be in orbit around it ? Will I be following an orbital trajectory that can be altered by thrusting prograde or retrograde ?

I'm pretty sure the answer is no. Is this mechanic going to be implemented in futur updates ? Maybe with Horizon ?

It takes a year for Earth to move around Sol. If you watch it for just a few moments, of course you aren’t going to see it move.

Yes everything orbits in real time. There's a moon that orbits at insane speed in one system, but I'm too lazy to find the video of it. Anyway you can get cought in the orbit of this moon so you rotate around it's planet very quickly.

In some systems you can see them in motion w/o timelapse - even very rapid motion in some cases - rapid enough that if you come to 30 km/s speed in SC, a planet and the station orbiting around it run away like a Road Runner.
