the spring sale in the cosmetics shop is cool, thank you. But none of the items there are currently on my shopping list or I would have them already. Some of those you deleted earlier continue to be, however (Keelback Asemic Gold & White, Imperial Clipper Noble series a.o.)
Isn't there a community manager who can send a virtual slap on the wrist to whoever decided that? We discussed this earlier around here, that it's irrational to remove virtual items which cause zero cost to keep stocked. I know that my own taste is not representative for the community, but everybody likes something different and whether some items are more or less popular has no bearing at all on shop maintainance. All it does is depriving yourselves of those sales collectively, and the cost for having developed them is just written off instead of keeping its potential.
I would suggest to add sorting within categories to the store*. In addition to name and price, also enable sorting by popularity. This is just a number derived from every item's historical sales and easy to implement. I bet you that, rather than shunning the less popular ones after we're enabled to know them, there would be a portion of customers motivated to pick from the bottom just because of the knowledge that this is not what everybody else already flies. I know I would.
