Great job FD, thank you!

I´ve been waiting so long for this, and to my taste you hit exactly the correct difficulty for the thargoids we have encountered so far.
I tried my luck in my heavily engineered conda this afternoon, shields were holding fine, used my fighters to distract the little buggers and started hammering the hearts.
It was challenging to say the least, FA off FA on pip management etc... Then i was down on my last 8 missiles in my 4 launchers, the last heart was at 56% and i got greedy and decided to go right in facetanking.
I landed 2 bad shots, decided to not do an evasive maneuver but keep pounding it, 1 shield ring left... and bang, the yellow lightning weapon hit me for a long time, shields down, thrusters offline... caustic missile up my a**
and powerplant to 50%, FSD to 0%... holy crap, emergency reboot got my thrusters online so i started running, launching another fighter to keep the damned thargons away. I had a great DD5 roll a while ago, so 370ms
is what my conda does on the run, initiated FSD repair a few % and put it online again, high waked out at 14% hull.
Wait, what? 13%? 12%? Damn it, the caustic missile keeps eating my hull, quickly set yourse to obsidian orbital and i finally docked up at 5%.
I was sweating (Oculus rift didn´t help there) for the first time since i play this game.
From a combat pilots perspective, so far a perfect update FD. Nicely balanced (making those new launchers dumbfire was a brilliant idea), skill required, and the increasing aggressiveness of the thargoids is nicely done.
And you encourage wing play, tonight i will go hunting with my brethren and we will have a ton of fun.
Excited to see what is coming still, so far you really nailed it and i wanted to voice that opinion of mine.
