Deadly, But very fluffy...
It's a survival fps sandbox set in the cold dark north of Canada after the lights go out...

Game is called 'The Long Dark'

Thanks found this very interesting, anything with Sandbox in its name gets my attention!
Sounds good to, i will be adding a few pennies later, its not out till late 2014 so i can get on with ED before having a little survival escapism now and again with this game.

Edit...just backed it :)

NOT LOOKING!!! NO!!! Cant make me..

*phew i glanced and got away without backing it...*

looks good.

Hehel know what you mean, so many good looking projects its easy to get carried away!

Am even backing a small british film being made, about a murder in a hotel on an old wartime submarine set in the 50s after the world has been layed waste from an atomic war, and I think its a comedy!

The Long Dark looks right up my street, survival in the wilderness after the world has gone to pot, dont know how am going to find time for all these games! Gonna have to get my wife to work harder! ;)

Well im going to be Duncan Bannytieemennes for this one and declare myself out..

incidently how different the phrase would be on that show if it was called the Dragons Closet!

I really like this. I'm going to back it in a few weeks.

Thank you so much Out2Lunch. :):):)

[UPDATE]:
I just sent them a PM with some questions. It's clear the final is DRM free / direct download but I want to check the Alpha and Beta are just to be sure it's not a steam only or something like that/ I've been bitten by that recently, something I do not wish to happen again. :) This one is a single player game so it should all be fine but better be safe than sorry.....KS pledgers are investors after all. :)

[UPDATE #2]: Ok they replied saying they are not quite sure on the Alpha and beta distribution platforms but they said they will definitely have non steam options available. I just sent them another PM for clarification to confirm that whatever that platfom is that there will always be a direct download option with no third party download control managers. :)
