Great Timing

I haven't had time to play for a couple of weeks and finished work an hour early today as I have THIS EVENING free and wanted to get in a bit of ED before the kids come for the weekend.

I'm sure the guys at FD have LOADS of time to play video games whenever they want, but many of us have jobs and families, personally I can find at most one evening a week to play games and this week this is it !

Why the hell don't you do stuff like this during the day when most people are at work ?

It's always someone's free time that suffers. This time, it turned out to be you. No way around it. Don't like it? Don't play an online game.

the servers went down at half 2, you can't get more daytime than that, the problem is the length of time they will be down for but if FD needs that long to do the update then so be it.

It was a hotly disputed debate in the beta forum, we all wanted an early patch time but FDEV were adamant that they wanted to ruin your evening :(

FINALLY my plan has worked!!

Remember GreyWulf when you cut me up in traffic 2 years ago?

Well I stalked you, found out your schedule and worked out when would be the BEST time to destroy your gaming pleasure...

I then got a job at FD and I am in charge of organising update timings... FEEL MY WRATH!!!!


Revenge is a dish best served cold.....



(only joking honest... just a bit bored waiting for the update - sorry )

I suspect it's because most sensible people are at the pub right now. Which, all things considered, is probably where the FD implementation team would also rather be. In the midst of misery though you are, perhaps you could spare a thought for them and their families (who aren't actually going to see them all weekend, given the amount of whinging and complaining that's going to be happening over the next couple of days).

Honestly, the amount of complaining and whining about 1.3 has shocked even me, and I'm generally unsurprised by any negative facet of human nature.

It's a game, dude. Surely if you have a busy life and kids (as I do), you can find something to do which is vastly more constructive than playing a game for a couple of hours?
