Does anyone know if the Paleobotony bonus is affected by difficulty at all? So is there a larger bonus when playing on Hard than vs easy?

You're referring to challenge mode, right? I would assume that the bonus is unaffected, since difficulty doesn't affect dinosaur rating.

I popped the trophy and as a note the dinosaurs rating didn't affect the amount of the bonus it must be based on species
