Hello there! I'm Cmdr Tristyn Hawke. I'm fresh as a spring daisy to this sector of the 'verse and I'm looking to find some like-minded folks who wouldn't mind me tagging along on engagements for a bit of "on the job" training. To be clear, I'm looking for new friends who have some experience in combat and things to teach me. I'm a fast learner and pretty quick witted, and I don't buckle under pressure, but I know when it's time to bug-out and live to fight another day.
I've been at this for about 4 days now, and I've managed to score myself a Viper. It's nothing amazing, but she gets the job done (most of the time). The important thing is to put yourself out there, right? Big rewards come with big risks, but sometimes the payout is worth it.

*Note (I would prefer a private group to start off, as I'm not completely confident in my abilities to go against battle-hardened felons and ne'er-do-wells of the galaxy just yet, but I'm certainly up to the task in the future as my knowledge and skills increase. I'm U.S. Eastern time, and my gaming window is from around 10 am through 11 pm most weekdays, weekends are up in the air. I have a young daughter whom I care for during the day, so there might be times when "duty" calls. As such, life responsibilities of being a husband and a father take precedence over all else. So long as my new mentors acknowledge and understand this point, everything will work out great!)
