Greetings! I was very excited to see that PS4 was announced, it'll be great to no longer be the only other "Console plebs"

Elite can be a really tough game at first, so I wanted to tell all of you NOW ahead of time, don't give up! There are loads of great guides and places to check out! I wanted to link some useful places early on.
First: A full 84 page guide to the ED universe:

Second:A great website for new commanders to find a group and stay up to date on in game news and events http://inara.cz/news
Third: Once you get to know how to dock one of the first things you may do is outfit your ship, this is where coriolis comes in, it allows you to experiement with outfitting to determine what works for you. https://coriolis.edcd.io
Fourth: Now before you say anything yes it says Xbox one on the tin, but as a moderator of https://www.reddit.com/r/EliteOne/, i can assure you we are 100% open to our fellow console brethren. Here you can help with everything from experienced commanders who want to help, as well as use some of the great resources on our side bar. (A dedicated PS4 subreddit is in the works for you guys too!)
Fifth: Discord, this is an instant messaging client for gamers, it's fantastic. There are literally hundreds of Elite servers you can join. Sixth: I just wanted to say Welcome Commanders, I can honestly say this has been my favorite game I've ever played. With over 1,900 hours in I still get a thrill from PvP and still get excited where the game is headed. So, I want to raise a glass and welcome all of our soon to be commanders!
