Griefer Warning - Guardian ruins sites

Griefer Warning. If you are out in the Guardian Ruins area scanning obelisks, be aware there is a Commander in an Alliance Chieftain destroying unmanned ships.

It take immense skill to destroy a stationary unmanned ship, y'know.

What I don't understand, is the "PvP" crowd are really loud on the forums, and not all of them are griefers, yet when anyone shows up being naughty, none of these PvP fanatics show up to deal with it. Lol

C'mon guys. You have things to shoot, where are you?,

Oh right, you don't fit useful FSDs to your ships, and there are no stations to transfer too. :p

Bummer.

It's given that this will happen.

And why doing any of this kind of game activity in Open is a bad idea. ;)

Not only do you have to deal with ats like the one mentioned above, the sites themselves are incredibly buggy when carrying a Multi-Player instance on top of everything else.

Do yourselves a favor and switch to Solo or a trusted private group. Its like a new game. :)

Not that often, or for long. Those who engage in this unwelcome behavior are rather quickly ejected.

It's pretty sad, really, that anyone would bother doing this. There are plenty of people in open who don't want shot at for these sorry excuses and wastes of DNA to bother.

Those losers are usually the ones you see on here complaining that there is no one in Open to blow up anymore. All do in large part to their own atian behavior. They then get the bright idea to crash Mobius to resume their Seal Clubbing.

If these players didn't suck at PvP as much as they do, they would be able to meet up with plenty of skilled PvP pilots to engage with. The problem is always back to their lackluster abilities which can only handle noobs and unarmed ships that don't shoot back.

The Pond Scum and Slime Mold of Elite Dangerous if you will.

Seems rather insulting to the pond scum and slime mold if you ask me.

Now that is pretty low, entering a strictly PvE-only group and then killing another player! Good to hear that the rules do get enforced and perpetrators are promptly ejected.

But but... it's blazing muh own trail emergent content ganking unarmed and empty explorer vessels that don't get dismissed due to the nature of the guardian sites (return is often kilometers away). Playing by the rules and the framework of the game.

Was in the guardian systems (ruins) for 1 week in open.
Saw many people ( also strange ones ^^' ) but no one attacked eachother even unarmed parked ships.

I miss the old days, when the second (or third?) ruin site was discovered. Several players with big scary ships stood watch to allow others to explore safely. It was a mutually beneficial arrangement, since every time someone scanned one of the obelisks, everyone in the instance got the scan.

Consider yourself lucky. This is unfortunately the exception at these sites. Not the rule.
