Grinding ranks in Odyssey

Is there any difference in achieving ranks Odyssey/Horizons.
And of course what is the newest method for Federation rank grinding now? :)
While I still have 9 days till my new VGA card arrives for Odyssey it is my goal to get at least Rear Admiral till that time.

No, the same methods that applied previously, still apply today (for instance using Ceos & Sothis). However, you can now use those 9 days to familiarise yourself with (forum) search engines. 👍

Please tell me something - there should be something that can help earning those ranks faster.
Sothis missions - you can take 3 then each going to 3 different stations so basicly saying it is one at a time anyway and that one mission is only 1%.
It means 100 missions in each rank, with each rank somewhere before Rear Admiral i guess 10 missions will be 1%.
Please.. tell me there is another way!

Why the urgency to gain the rank? Play the game doing a variety of activities rather than constant grind. Unless you are after a rank locked ship urgently, you can take your time.

I was triple ELITE once and lost it all because XBOX transfer. Now I am back on PC and already started all over again.
I have my nice Ship Kits and Paint Jobs for Corvette and Cutter but now I have to grind it all again. :)

Since you have done it once, now you can take it easy. You have a long term objective to work towards. Enjoy the journey.
