First off I want to say that I really am enjoying this game. It is pretty lots to do, plenty of places to explore. However I find that trying to play with friends in rather difficult. There is NO hud displayed for grouped players, which is VERY aggravating. Also it seems that if you want to do things with friends you are very limited, because you can only really meet each other in an individual system. I wanted more than floating around a startport or asteroid field. Anyone have any suggestions of what would help me improve my group playability?

My suggestion is to wait for version 1.2 which will address these mechanics. The 1.2 Beta is coming the first week of March and as soon it's stable enough for the rest. Until then just try to enjoy the other aspects of the game.

Ahh, alright guys thank you for the heads up. I was going to be butthurt if such a beautiful game was ruined because it was lacking that element. But it's good to hear it is on it's way!
