groups

I have been reading a lot of stuff about groups and things related to this.

But through the hundreds of topics and replies I can't find an answer to my question...

Whats the requirement for a group of players to get registered?

How many members does a group need?

Or is it really that easy by sending an email?

It really is. I don't think there is a requirement or having minimum number of players, but not 100% sure

that one is mainly about starting a minor faction. We are no where near doing that. still doing a lot of back ground research on the RPG part of it all.
To be honest, at the moment there's not much benefit to doing one without the other. One of the reasons I registered my little group was because from the thread it was indicated that you could register with a small group and be put in the lowest tier ("Dangerous") based on membership, for the purpose of, and I quote, "Dangerous groups are anyone that wants to be a part of the conversation"
.
Well, so far it seems unless you run a larger group that was put in higher tier and got the secret handshake to get into the select groups discussion forum, there has seemingly been zero discussion outside that forum. I have no idea what's going on in there. Much as I would have liked to have taken part, as I believe small group's voices should be heard as well, exclusion has now more or less made me lose the urge to participate. So for the time being I'm quite happy to just work with the other perk of group registration, which is our minor faction, and I do encourage people to get involved with that.

we have been a clan in another game for 3 years. we are just slowly migrating to new games like ED. Becoming a minor faction is our goal, but for now we will settle becoming a group untill more of our players joined.
Gives us some time to do research and setup a nice background story and all
