Hey folks, just wanted to mention/share, I have been running gtx 980 sli configuration for a while, as others have stated, this caused me glitches within the oculus rift and Elite, so had been running it with sli disabled.. but still was not getting very good results..some stutters and flashes and such, even on med settings.. so last night, I decided I was going to try to sell one of the 980's (saving up for the 1080 ti when it comes out), so I pulled on of the gpu's out, Well, to my surprise, the game ran SOOO much smoother with the one card in the system., with higher settings, even compared with two cards with sli disabled.. not really sure why, but just thought I would share my experience. I know some have stated good results with sli, but this is mine 
If you are having suspect results in sli, even with it disabled, try removing one of the cards.
