Guardian Energy Pylon not active

Does anyone know why the energy pylon is deactivated? I drive near to it and it is not coming out of the ground:

yea its to force a looped run the start point is allways the same end point of the loop for each site...
Some one has to drive to the start point and then you shoot two pylons and get the correct time bonus...
So you only do 4 in the wild pylons in the Site with the loop run not actualy 6... 2 are gifted at the start to the player...
 
You just need to get the first one out of the ground then the others will pop for you. After that u can activate them in whichever order u like. My first run at one of the module sites i popped the first one without realizing it because it was elevated and i didn't see or hear it rise then i found and charged the other 5 pylons and almost timed out before i found that first one at the data terminal. Ended up charging that one last for the rest of my runs so i just had to charge it and drive to the other side of the pylon to the terminal and drop the relic. Then i ignored the last wave of sentinels as i made my way to my ship and took off. I felt like indiana jones at the beginning of raiders.

Does anyone know why we can charge the pylons a second time after receiving the blueprint? The timer is just half then.
Fdev like to push/punish OCD users...
You can't get a second blueprint so they mess wirh the OCD user base and smeg you over with after the blueprint collected pylon keeping left overcharge...
If you have a blueprint from that instance, you'll never get another until you leave and return any way...
 
Another thing I discovered recently is that you don't even need to raise the pylons to set them off. Missiles activate them - so you can just carpet bomb the area to activate all the pylons within a few seconds. :D

I must try that!

I usually activate the two pylons at the centre, then drive around raising them all and eliminating sentinels, then activate them starting with the furthest-out ones.

The funny thing is that that's how I always did it when I actually wanted to activate and collect the blueprint. I've been maxed out on Guardian materials for ages now though, but still like driving around the ruins. I haven't checked whether you still need to raise the first two (likely I had raised those while driving around), but I was quite surprised when the ones I hadn't raised activated when I decided to take out the Sentinels with missiles. If I'd known that when I needed to collect the blueprints, it would have saved loads of time. :D
