Really? I was reasonably sure I’d flown through a few on my way to other places recently?

Is not Synuefe GT-H b43-1 closer for DBX to land at.... DBX is cheap to suicide back to bubble with...
( DBX also fits Pre-engineered grade 5 FSD from tech broker to make jumping out way quicker)

Yeah I tried. It kept putting me in another system when I tried to plot the route.

I have a FC that I can jump around in but it seems many of the Synuefe systems are locked by Thargoids

Yeh, I don’t think that would work … you’d need to park the big ol‘ barge in a nearby system and then break out the dinghy …

Neither ship nor FC. I tried to use my DBX and denied. It kinda sucks, had this stuff on my PS4 account years ago but when I started my PC account, that was before the migration. I decided not to bring over my PS4 account. So I'm sorta grinding again. Already done so with the Cutter and Corvette.

I’m going to do exactly this (guardian grind) for exactly these reasons (I didn’t migrate a console account, so I’m doing it all again).
The guardian grind was actually kind of fun the first time around, although having to relog was annoying.

Any tips for the post-invasion, 2023 guardian grind would be really helpful!

This is annoying - I haven’t tried it, but - how do we (humans) get back thargoid controlled systems, if this is the case?

I’d assumed if I were to rock up with 300 of my close AXI friends and start shooting, then eventually, after a sufficiently horrifying amount of shooting, the system would be ours?

travelling through any systems that can get you inter or hyperdicted isn't the same as thargoid controlled

I got/get interdicted and hyperdicted a lot, it doesn't matter.
if you do not have the experience yet to evade, learn it. use it.

even my lowly dbx flies past them with no issues.

I visited the 2 systems you named, not thargoid controlled

please show us a guardian system with goids in it. I want this. afaik there is only 1 such system.

Are you perchance falling afoul of the bug that shows any system a carrier can't jump to at this moment (perhaps because of cooldown) as blocked by Thargoids? See https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/thargoids-in-colonia.612885/

That was completely possible. I'll try to confirm when I'm doing my little grind here
