Guardian FSD Booster Grind Trouble

Howdy Commanders,

I touched down on Synuefe NL-N C23-4 B3 and got the blueprint fragment! And didn't die! Yay!
I shot everything I could find. Scooped up everything I could carry (8 tons).

Here's my problem:

I ended up with a casket, a tablet, an urn, a relic, and a totem (8 tons), 36 power cells, 33 power conduits, but only 9 technology components!!!
All I want is the FSD booster but that leaves me 12 technology components short!
What did I do wrong and do I have to keep going back until I find the remaining technology components?
If I avoid the pylons, will I have to mess with more sentinels?

I'm currently parked "nearby" at New Growth.

Thanks for straightening me out...

I can confirm that you get technology components from destroying 'guardian sentinels'. Easiest way to destroy them is put all pips to Shields and weapons and have your ship equipped with 2 point defense mechanisms which will halt missles. It also helps if your combat rank is competent or higher but its not necessary to be at that rank. If you have any other questions feel free to ask! Hope this helps 😇

Hi Ron,
just restart the game, it will re-initialise the site.
o7.

That's the best site for Module Blueprints, just relog and the site will be reset and keep farming stuff, also you won't need to scoop what goes in your Cargo, that stuff is useless for Blueprints.

Greetings,

The Guardian FSD booster is one of the easiest items to obtain. I think that the Devs designed it that way to get players interested in the Guardian play style. It gets harder with other toys. You are collecting items taking up cargo not needed although could be sold later getting to a station if you don't get killed first. The ones needed are materials and do not take up cargo space thus less interdictions.

Stick with what you need for the first 3 on the following list then go to the bubble and purchase the rest.

Guardian FSD Booster
1 Guardian Module Blueprint Fragment
21 Guardian Power Cell
21 Guardian Technology Component
24 Focus Crystals
8 HN Shock Mount

Rinse and repeat per logout/login as needed to get what is needed. Bring a friend to provide 'air' support taking out sentinels with class 2 lasers while you run around in an SRV and it is a SO easy and fast to do. Reverse roles so that your friend can drive the SRV.

There are many other subtle improvements such as installing point defense missiles and when to use the brake on the SRV. I don't want to spoil the game for you! :)

Regards

Take note of which 'towers' drop the tech component when you shoot the panels, remember where they are. Relog.
Don't remember seeing Sentinels ever dropping these.
There's a site map somewhere (Google is your friend again) with all towers/Pylons/panels locations listed and what they drop. ;)

Finally got my Guardian FSD booster!

Now, what do I do with the 8 tons of Guardian cargo I'm dragging around?
(casket, tablet, urn, relic, and totem )
Can it be sold? If so, who buys this stuff?

You can sell them at any Market, not big money but better than jettison.
