Guardian Modules Blueprint drops

Possibly a daft question but anyone else not getting any Module Blueprints when completing a Guardian site? I've read the guides, seen the video's and followed to the letter. I drop the relic, the blue sphere pops up and I scan it. All I get is that I have this data in the codex. I have done this four times in two different areas. Nada.

I found a Guardian Structure while doing a quick exploration run through the Vela Dark Region. It wasn't listed when I googled the system, so I completed the site and got a module blueprint. This was between the 3.3 launch and the first patch. So it was definitely working a week and a bit ago.

You're scanning the blue sphere with the data scanner and not the composition scanner right?

Are you sure you are using the data scanner and not composition scanner? If you have them both in the same fire group, notice that the composition scanner finishes before the data scanner. Also, repeating the activation sequence without resetting the instance before will not yield a blueprint.

This happened to me a couple of times. had to reset the instance and redo the pylons unfortunately. I didnt even have the composition scanner active so I think its a bug. So glad I just finished my last guardian unlock last night.

Well, it was the fact I was using the wrong scanner. I had them both bound to the same slot. I am such a dolt but it was your info that made me go back. You guys were right and you are legends. THANK YOU!!!!
