Guardian Sentinel/Scavanger exp value

Been wondering lately, how much exp they give? We know that each Goid Scout is considered Elite. I'm positive that I get combat rank progress for killing Sentinels (or any skimmers there are). Anyone knows?

I've wondered this myself, I managed to rank up to Novice by farming guardian sites to unlock most of the things they offer. I'd say you'll probably get to competent/expert before they stop giving any exp entirely

I think the Sentinels count as Elite.
Can't back it up with facts and figures, just my experience of blowing many, many of them up.
