Guardian sites - help required, please.

Hi been "shopping" round a Guardian site (SYNEUFE NL-N c23-4 B3) and picked up all the power cells and other bits I needed.

When I go to charge the pylons, however, none of them will rise. I checked and found a bug report from about a year ago, but I would have thought that had been fixed by now.

Has anyone any idea what I might be doing wrong? Does the order matter or can I do them any way I like.

^ what he said :) ... or at least drive near it. You will hear at least a couple of pylons rise either side of the receptor machine thingy

driven over what I think it is and even parked on it. May have got that wrong, though, cos I remember it being cement coloured, not blue.

Time to take another look, I think.

I get pylons rising, but they're the ones with ancient relics on them. Apart from that, nada.

You need to find two of those next to the big orb machine thingy.
They should rise when you approach them.
Then return to the other triangular base things (in your pic) and they should also rise when you approach them.

Some sites are bugged. I was following Exigeous awesome guides last night, and the fighter structure was bugged for me. It worked for me in the past on a different account. Had to go to a different site listed on the Cannon webpage. Yamiks guide has a link to the Cannon site data. The other sites I visited were working fine.

On a side note I notice that there are a ridiculous number of braintree biologic sites after probing, so go do some scanning while you're in the neighborhood :)

Fantastic.

Thanks, all. I think I'll go to a new site - get a new perspective. That and I just got my SRV stuck on a corner, so have to do a "no horizons" restart :eek:

I've just been to the site you mentioned in your OP, it's working OK.
However, it doesn't look like the pic I posted lol.
All the previous sites I've been to were like my pic, honest.:eek: And some sites are much easier to get around than others.

They rise when you get close to them. You have to hit the main structure first, get those two to rise first, then you can visit the other 4 and get them up.
Then start shooting that energy orb that will become visible. The pylons will power up, until you have all 6 up.
I do the two at the main station usually last, as you will get jumped by a few sentinels.

All done. Finally sussed that I have to drive up onto the "mound" to get it working.
