Guardian SLF fighters now bobble heads in the Store

I have never understood the appeal of bobbleheads - either in game or in the real world. I get that certain demographics are particularly fond of them, as well as other things like "Moon Pies", "Genesee", and "Chewing tobacco".

I just shrug my shoulders - enjoy what you like to enjoy. Just don't expect me to understand it.

Something else I don't understand - why is it so hard to fire up the graphics program, load the orca skin, run the filter to apply the Chrome finish, and put it in the store?

This is the only thing that's going to bait the money out of my wallet. I skipped all the Black Friday items this year too. They want my money, they've got to offer me what I want to spend it on.

Instead, I bought State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition, and have been playing that instead. I don't mind giving up some money, for something I actually want.

I imagine one of those pulse-paintjobs looking interesting on the orca.

The guardian fighter would look more funny if the wings could move seperately from the body, but no. The toy looks more realistic as a unit than the fighter itself.

I'm actually really disappointed with a product from the Frontier store for the first time, and I've put a lot of money that way to help with development.

I got the Trident fighter and because it faces the pilot it is practically impossible to see.

Now I know someone will say it's because it's in the centre, but even changing position makes it barely visible.

They would solve the issue by making it rotate, simple-ish fix I assume. I really hope they consider it.

My first, "Hey, there is something new at the Frontier store!" post. I feel like a noob.

I'm not seeing the same but we all have different perspectives. I purchased all three of the Guardian fighters (well, I was bored) and placed them near the center. Without sunlight on the dashboard I cannot always see their ship outlines or any other bobblehead in the dark. But all those lights on them shimmer as I move my ship around. My rotating Coriolis station on the far left was a lot less impressive.

Going to a HAZRez targeting NPCs those cool shimmering lights were a distraction as I kept looking at the darn things! Still it is the Christmas season and maybe cool shimmering lights makes us enjoy the season a little more. You decide and seasons greetings.
