Guardian Turrets - Is there any point using them against Thargoids?

As some of you may already know, The Guadrian weapons come in one of two firing arcs; Fixed and Turreted. However, Turreted Guardian guns can only be turrets in multi-crew, otherwise they just act as weaker forward facing guns. Because AX Turrets can't sub-target an inteceptor's heart, it makes them pretty useless for Multi-crew gunners against thargoids, is it the same for Guardian Turrets?

If that's the case, is the only useful turreted weapon for a gunner is the Flack Cannon for getting rid of Thargons?

Guardian Shard turrets don't need multi-crew.

Ah, sorry, got a bit confused what OP was after.:alien:

Yeah, Sorry I wasn't clear. I'm talking about having a Multi-crew Gunnar going up against Inteceptors.

AX-Turrets will rip through against scouts, specially when they're on a T10!

The OP is probably referring to the fact that multi-crew gunners can’t sub-target modules so any Turreted weapons (including the Aegis and Guardian AX ones) are pretty much useless when it comes to taking out Thargoid Interceptor hearts in multi-crew.

Thargoid multi-crew combat is pretty much restricted to the SLFs.

Ah, fair enough, never tried multicrew tbh.
