Guardian weapons in PvP?

How do the guardian weapons stack into the PvP heirarchy / meta tree? Last META I was aware of was long range super penetrating rail guns plus plasma accelerators. Do the guardian weapons move the goal posts, or do their inability to be engineered leave them irellevant to PvP?

PS: Wasn't sure to put this in aliens or PvP as its is about Alien Weapons in PvP if mode feel it would be best moving it feel free o7

I didn't try them in PvP but guardian weapons do underperform versus anything that is not a xeno in PvE due to the fact that you can't engineer them. None of them comes close to the damage or utility of human weaponry.

It's usable but not the best thing to use for PVP. If you get jumped by someone while trying to hunt Thargoids, you can at least fight back with guardian weapons than you could with AX weaponry.
