guest ignore staff paths again

in my new zoo, guests seem again to ignore the staff only paths. they constantly walk them, if it is a shortcut to something. the only way to deal with it, was to make every staff path a dead end. dont know, what the problem again is, the new patch maybe? is it posible, that they ignore the staff only paths, if they are connected to a grid-aligned guest path?

Your guests should never walk on Staff Paths; after 1.0.3 we've received reports that this feature is broken, and we're working on fixing it again ASAP! It's good if you've managed to find a work around, but it'll be temporary so don't change your existing parks over it! If we roll out a fix, everything should function like before.

Thank you!

Any timeline on this fix? My zookeeper came out of the shower and frightened a family wandering the staff alley.o_O
ROFL, you got a laugh from me with that.

On topic, I had this happen when I first loaded up the zoo after the update, but it went away on it's own after a little bit of game time and I haven't seen a guest on staff paths since.

I had a bit of trouble with this too- and naturally, they took the staff path right through the middle of a cluster of facilities and got REALLY mad about it.

Happening big time in a new park started since the patch. Guests are using a staff path like a highway. Not only are the guests unhappy but I've had 2 staff quit now because they are tired of people "watching them work" :(

If you place the staff paths and connect a facility to it (by placing the facility next to it. The game autocompletes the path with a piece of regular path.
It appears guest use that piece of path to get closer to animals, ignoring the staff path in the process.

As long as it's all staff path, it won't happen. Check your paths if it is all staff path.

"autocompletes the path " no thats not the problem, i removed this, replaced every facility, and reconnected evrything. if the staff path leads to somewhere, the guest are using it as a normal path. it is reproduceable. they seem to choose the shortest way independend of the path. the second i turn a dead end into a walk through, gueast start to walk it.

It's a known bug, sorry to hear you're encountering this! We're working on a fix ASAP!
