Guest LITTERally litter in front of the trash bins (look at picture)

Are the trash cans full?

There are still a lot bugs with guests, animals and employee interactions with objects. Animals don't feed themselves despite food being in front of them, employees don't fix vandalized stuff in front of them, and guests litter even though a trash can is right there.

I have 3 caretakers patrolling there specific for that area, my issue isn't the caretaker not cleaning, its the guests not using the bins.

I hate the number of trash cans I have to have around to keep the trash down. It looks horrible. I have one section that is the worst, and there isn't much space between the two cans. I made a ramp going down to a viewing around, two cans at the top and two cans at the bottom but there is trash littering the short ramp down. I have plenty of cleaners and when I check the cans aren't full.

How do you assign caretakers, exactly, to keep them from wandering too far? Like what items do you assign to the workzone? Bins? The nearest staff building?

doesn't really matter what type of building, I have one walking from a habitat gate to the drinks shop because the path between them has alot of litter / trashcans.

What does your guest happiness look like? The problem could be that you have a lot of guests whose needs aren't being met.

Also, do you have Security patrolling that area?

How do I get security to patrol an area that isn't near a building? I'm getting vandalism of signs along a path around a large habitat. Do I assign the habitat as a workzone?

The same as you assign zones for other staff. Just assign habitats and buildings that stretch across an area along or a opposite ends of the path you want the security to patrol.

lol, I don't know why it didn't occur to me to assign the habitat to a security workzone. I guess I didn't think they would be going in there so no need. But I guess they will patrol the path around the habitat. I guess the same will work for caretakers to get them picking up litter on that path. Thanks!

I have placed security cameras all over my park and noticed no difference in vandalism or litter. I'm hoping that in the next patch we'll be able to turn that off for sandbox mode. I'd prefer not to have to but as it is, it's unreasonable. It feels like it's just there to make something to do, I don't need that in sandbox.
