Guests avoid 2nd park entrance, but they use it as exit

Hello to all,

and sorry for my bad english.
It is my first post here and I hope I'll find help here.
(Is it the right thread here...? If not, sorry again. Please move it to the right one. Thx)

I searched the internet to find a solution for my/ this situation or but can't find anything about that describe this.

My idea:
The park should have 2 mainthemes. The guests can switch within the park from one to the other.
2 entrances and the peeps, oops, the guests can choose one of them which are they like more to go into the park.
(The temple entrance (No.1) or the pirate entrance (No.2); see pic attached)

So, I built the entrances in the scenario editor. Conected the streets to each other (behind the entrances).
If I opened the park the guests are using only entrance No. 1. til the entrance No.1 is too full, only and only then, they are going to the entrance No.2.

How can I do that they are splitting before... 1 group to the left and one to right or similar. (I hope you know what I mean)

What I tried to:
- build more and only attractions near pirate entrance
- build 2 spawnpoints side-by-side to the top of a square street (the guests starts walking on the left half of the way/path and switching after some meters from the left half of the way to the right half and use entrance No1)
- signs are not working

I hope I could reasonably present my problem and maybe you still have some ideas...!?

What I didn't tested:
- lategame (the park grews up and the themes are more balanced; possibly more attractions)

Thank you very much.

Greetings,

Eirik

Hey Eiriksaxt,

Welcome to the Planet Coaster forums.

I have moved your thread to the How do I-section of the forum.

I also have a park with two separate entrances, however, guests actually use both. The two pathways aren't connected, I have one spawn point a little ways down from one entrance, and the other spawn point is across from the other.

Thanks for response.
That is what I want. 2 entrances and both are using by the guests...
But it don't work.
Hm, does it work in a scenario editor?

Here is my screenshot now...
(Spawnpunkt means spawnpoint...)

You just need to add something enticing in the second entrance. That way the guests will use it too.

One example is a roller coaster that you know that people will want to ride. Like the mine train.

I have up to 5 entrances in my parks and guests use them all.

That's what I tried. (see post#1).

Is it possible that the guests choose the entrance with "massive" scenery objects?

On the new screenshot you see I built all shops/ attractions near pirate entrance.

is that enough... !? :D

What the guests now doing is, they are going at first to entrance No1 and then they are going to No2... (does that something to do with the patch/ update??

I am a little bit confused...

I do not have the exact answers to why. But I had the same issue in my 3 entrance park where they where always using the one entrance that I haven't build anything besides en entrance. The path after the entrance leads nowhere at all. The other 2 are connected with lots of rides, but still they all go to the unused entrance. But I have an idea of why it could happen, which is fairly simple....

Shortest route.

Park entrance 1 has the shortest route from spawn point to park entrance. After they past the entrance, they recalculate for a route to the ride, the shortest route is..... yes, through park entrance 2. (which might not look so, but it probably is.
They already paid for their tickets at Park entrance 1, so won't be charged again at park entrance 2.

It looks like the guests want to pay only once... [ugh]

Shortest route makes sense, but It is a pity that it does not work for what we want... [cry]

Well... okay.
Thanks until here.
