Guests say they don't have any money left even though they do

Like the title says: in my new franchise zoo I noticed lots of guest groups queuing for shops, ordering and then leaving without getting anything and even though the shops had long queues they barely made any profit. So I went to check the visitor thoughts to see why they didn't buy anything and found this:

So it seems even though they got more money from an ATM the gmae somehow doesn't actually register it, which then leads to guests endlessly wandering from shop to shop "phantom ordering" until their needs all drop into the red and they leave.

I already reported it here: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/12765 but I was curious if anyone else noticed this as well and maybe found a possible reason, since I couldn't pin anything down that's causing it, yet. I'm also wondering if this might contribute to the refunds problem some people still seem to have...though, I'll have to look into that some more because so far it seems like it doesn't effect happiness even though their needs are all in the red and AFAIK refunds only happen when happiness drops as well.

Unfortunately, not a new issue. I don't think that a player can influence this. I contributed to the issue.

It's starting to turn into a real problem in my new zoo now, yet weirdly enough I never saw it happen in my first franchise park. Those guests take up almost all the space in the queue lines and other guests that actually pay barely get to order anything anymore causing my shop profits to tank, which is definitely not good :/

I have sent you a savefile now. Also, some things I have noticed in my zoo that might help you reproduce it;
  • The bug only seems to affect guests that are on their way home and decide to buy food or drinks befor going home.
  • The problem seems to be centered to the entrance area, I have only seen it a few times in other parts of the zoo, but at the entrance area there are loads of guests with this bug.
  • The problem seems to get worse if you have more than one store of the same kind. When I first noticed the problem I had 5 cheef beef on one side of the entrance area and 5 gulpy soda on the other side. After I changed it today and instead have 5 different shops on each side, the problem seems much less frequent.

Thanks! I'll send a save later, too :)

Sadly I can't say that's true in my case. Rather the visitors go from shop to shop until they finally decide to leave and then "go home via..." it's also not centered around the entrance area. Not sure about the number of shops but my guests went back and forth between food and drink shops, so I don't think it really matters whether or not you have the same or different kinds of shops.

@Nioell hayo! Have you been able to send your park file over to us yet? We have had some, but we're not sure if they are yours and the dev team are very interested in taking a look at yours! :D
