So when the latest free update was first announced they mentioned that the tours were getting binocular upgrades (presumably like the park tour in the first game). I've played through the Dominion campaign, the Dominion chaos theory, and the Jurassic Park challenge and haven't seen anything resembling a binoculars upgrade to research. Am I missing something or did they perhaps not put it in the update?

The range of all the tour vehicles has been increased, and they should all now work the same. No era should be at a detriment when it comes to the dinosaur viewing cone of the tour vehicles. Vehicles can also be more densely packed, which leads to improved dinosaur visibility along the whole tour. The binoculars were then not really needed, and so weren't included in this patch.

Ah I see. Well I guess that's something. Although I WAS really hoping for the way they worked in Return to Jurassic Park for the first game. That viewing cone that automatically honed in on the dinosaurs was pretty nice and was long enough you could have the tour run along the outside of the enclosures and the guests would still get to see the animals. Any chance the team would still consider putting it in? It's just one of the things that changed between games that bugs me lol.
