Guilds or Cooperative play

Are there any resources for those who want to team up and or fly to support each other? Guilds etc or corporations?

Alliances will be introduced. No traditional guilds or corporations as implemented in other games (at launch anyway, later on, who knows....).

You want Eve or Star Citizen for that.

With all the mercenaries and the independent explorers that there will be in the game, I'd be surprised that the guilds are very popular
