Newcomer / Intro Gun sight issue

Hi - I recently suffered damage as a result of being too close :rolleyes: to an asteroid when Seismic Charge detonated
My Abrasion Blaster appeared to no longer be lined up when aiming
After repairing (it was just ship integrity), still had AB sight off centre
Tried buying new AB - same problem
Swapped to Primary; offset on same side
Any ideas how to fix?

OK - I must have been unobervent when I started mining. I certainly had misalignhment i.e. what I aimed at was not where I hit, after being hit by shockwave
But having just retried, all appears OK - maybe the repair did its job
I note my single pulse laser also slightly off centre. Not noticed before but probably due to only having one. Before had 2 so maybe shows as centred only then

The aiming dots of weapons can melt into a single dot for targets far away. When you close the range you'll see them spread out a little to become individual dots again.

Targeting a specific module on the ship also helps. Even the fixed weapons have a small amount of gimbal and they will try to converge on the target.
But honestly, this is one of the reasons why Cobra isn't the best of fighters - she's really wide and especially the C1 hardpoints are at the very tips of her "wings" so they have a mad spread when fighting at close range.
I usually resort to fully gimballed wepons when fighting in ships like these.
