I had this idea for a while now. Where deep space could use a cuppa. Because of the fact that we have artificial gravity, having a simple coffee mug would suffice. However, if those were to fail, this Gyroscopic mug will prevent it from spilling when gravity is affecting the ship. An idea, if this was added; It could start moving when near celestial bodies. Specifically stars. Especially Neutron Stars. Would be a nice thing to see my coffee slowly being dragged from the bottom facing the stars and/or planets as you can see how gravity is affecting the ship. Having a liquid inside the mug would be nice, with heat lines radiating off the top. An interesting decoration.
TLDR: I like coffee. Coffee cup faces gravity with gyros.
