I'd like to utilize the rides more in Planet Zoo, but I cannot figure out the intended use of the boat ride. It would be really great if we had a transport gate similar to the one for the jeep and train rides. This would create the ability for amazing boat tours and make animal escape impossible. I've heard of some workarounds to limit animal escape with boat rides, but none of the tips have ever worked for me. I hope that we can get a gate for boats as well!

That would be amazing. For now you can make invisible barrier there and build a custom gate. But yeah, the animation won't be there (the boat will get through the closed gate). You obv. have to build the gate as closed so animals won't run away.
But for me it is better to have custom closed gate however I want rather than those few premade ones.
