Habitat Snakes

I know Frontier has been putting Snakes in Exhibits but what about 1 or 2 as a habitat snake example: the Burmese Python and the Rock Python because those Snakes get pretty big and I think would be a perfect habitat animal for Planet Zoo but if they decide to make them exhibit animals instead wouldn’t hurt my feelings.

The primary reason that the exhibit animals are exhibit animals isn't so much to do with size (though that plays a role), but because to accurately house these animals in zoos you need carefully controlled heat and humidity. If you had a pet snake you wouldn't let it just roam around your backyard, after all. Beyond getting it out for interaction, you'd leave it in a climate-controlled terrarium to better maintain its metabolism.

I think the best idea for bigger animals like the Burmese python or the green anaconda would be a larger type of exhibit.

I'm not sure that snakes would make good habitat animals. Many species are sedentary and do not move a great deal. It would be extremely difficult to provide the heat and humidity requirements for a large snake in an outdoors enclosure, as mentioned above. They are superb escape artists and will get over most walls, fences and barriers with ease. Finally, there's food. Will Frontier want to animate snakes engulfing other animals whole?
I guess all of the above could be overcome by effectively sacrificing some realism and ignoring them, but I just think snakes work better as exhibit animals. Granted, I'd want to see bigger exhibits if we were getting giants like the green anaconda and reticulated python.

I think NZfanatic explained it well but to add: feeding time / stress.

Stress seems obvious: in a terrarium with the proper conditions they are more relaxed and do much better
Feeding: knowing that you fed it and the proper diet.
(comparing it to RL situations, btw)

And even breeding, controlling your snake-breeding in a habitat is a lost cause - in a terrarium/exhibit you are able to control it.

And ofc. hudsonbear gave another obvious reason: escape artists.

Habitat animals, no.
Bigger exhibits (big wish = with more customization options) looks like a better to please a lot of players in 1 change.
