Habitats not visited by keepers

I get this notation a lot. While I am looking at the keeper taking care for the said habitat.
Could anyone explain this to me? I am a bit confused. There are even enough keepers, some of them are a bit bored.

Hello, have you assigned individual tasks to your animal keepers?

The options are:
  • feeding
  • Clean the enclosure
  • Maintain vivarium

If you have an animal keeper who cleans AND feeds in a habitat, another animal keeper will only help if the animal keeper in question takes a break (unless the animal keeper simply works through without a break)

However, cleaning often takes a long time, depending on how big and how dirty the enclosure is.

This shifts feeding times. The result is that animals go hungry.

If you use two animal keepers with separate tasks, one only takes care of the feed, while the other can take care of the cleaning at the same time.

As a result, it works with regular feeding.

I always like to take an animal keeper (feed) for a maximum of two or three very small habitats.

Since the employees have impossible commutes to work, at least before the last patch, I always put all the food items in one place.
This significantly shortens the walking distances of the staff.

Hi Criosdan, while Dienstbier already helped you loads, I just wanted to pop in and let you know that we are preparing another update in the coming weeks and are looking to address a bunch of issues people have been having with Zookeepers - hopefully that will improve your experience!
