Yes, I believe that's what I'm missing except am looking for Neofabric Insulators per the video below.

Apparently, using hatch limpet controller on wrecked Megaships do no appear to call security?

Neofabric is from the cargo holds, not the data transmitters....

  • Data scan the ship (within about 4km)
  • Manifest scan the cargo holds
  • For each cargo hold showing neofabric:
    • Datalink scan the cargo hold (within 250 m)
    • Look in subtargets in the left panel - target the subtarget
    • Hatchbreaker on subtarget
    • Repeat hatchbreaker until all the Neofabric is out

Data transmitters (even on wrecks) are private, so will cause a security response
  • Datalink scan the ship
  • Datalink scan the transmitter (security is called) - subtargets revealed in nav panel
  • Recon limpet subtarget(s) to get data
  • Gaze at the poor level of data as you run from security

Yes, I know except when scanning cargo megaship I saw the transmitter in Contacts and thought might as well get some data when I didn't find any neofabric insulators.

Anyway, to more than the amount of neofabrics I need from one sightseeing mission [big grin]
